goMedus – The Concept

For privately insured persons and self-paying patients

Patients always expect outstanding quality for their medical care. And this expectation is increasingly also applied to the organisation of medical service provision and the practice services. And this is precisely where the innovative organisational concept of goMedus comes into play!

goMedus organises a national specialist network of regional partner practices which work closely together. These regional networks are always set up in line with 4 basic principles:

Completeness:
A complete spectrum of medical care with the most important specialist medical core disciplines is available to the patients. In principle, the whole outpatient care is therefore reproduced in each region.

Options:
Each core discipline is represented by a minimum of two practices which means the patient is not fixed
to one doctor even within each specialist area.

Interdisciplinary cooperation and transparency:
All participating specialists are extremely willing to cooperate with colleagues; at the expressed request of the patient, a central, digital patient record can be consulted for a quick and efficient exchange of information between doctors.

Round-the-clock appointments:*
Every patient and every doctor can arrange appointments with all goMedus partner doctors in the region at any time. In some cities, the network is complemented by goMedus health care centres in which the complete range of core disciplines is offered under one roof. The first complete region where this applies is Munich, further regions will follow.
